Ripple & The 5 O'clock Shadow

He said he liked the lipstick
But not the lip...

No, I'm not suggesting
You have any wine
To help you understand
This frame of mind

Well I turned up the volume
On a little Spanish guitar
Sat in the tub
Though wasn't so very far
When I began to read
About that mosque (or 15 story middle finger) ,

All those Martyrs
 &
The seduction of Cordoba

When I figured
It was time
To pour me a drop

But my mind
It had wandered
To all that Shiraz
  A malfunction on the forklift
At a $150.00 a pop
&
Marquis plans
To recoup the loss?

Still kinda wished
It simply a been Ripple (amusing youtube link)
Running past the dimple
On some 5 O'clock shadow..
Course, it was just my imagination~

Summertime

Tuesday mix~

I didn't exactly hit my camera (remember I dropped it)..though I felt like it!Well I took out the memory card this morning and uploaded the pictures that were in it, then went outside and took these. I had to turn it on and off between shots because all the settings would flip from one to the next on me really fast.
Anyhow, these are some of the new Sunflowers that came up this week..a tad later than I liked, but they were from seed..
I'm sitting here in the house with the fan on as it's been awfully humid today! So I thought you might enjoy this commercial too- (wink wink)

They may forget what you said, but they will never forget how you made them feel. Carl W. Buechner~

Thanks for lettig me share my Sunflowers with you~

Snippets of Serenity

This was pretty serene..and not to far from here (you think I would of jotted down the name?)- was another ranch in the town of Waimea. This was more of an outing than on an errand.

(Little video of donkey's in the pasture- late afternoon)

To-day, O hearken, nor your folly mourn
For time mispent, that never will return..

But see the sons of vegetation rise,
And spread their leafy banners to the skies.
All-wise Almighty Providence we trace
In trees, and plants, and all the flow'ry race;
As clear as in the nobler frame of man,
All lovely copies of the Maker's plan.
The pow'r the same that forms a ray of light,
That called creation from eternal night

(different view of the ranch)
This area is peppered with Jacaranda trees -

The way home along the Hamakua Coast..
Notice how glassy the sea was-

Tell Me If She Laughs Or Cries..

Mountain trails (last weekend)
A mix of scenery, a little poetry with a few short videos and a birthday wish-
If this be all

'While all the good I would impart,
The feelings I would share
Are driven backward to my heart
And Turned to wormwood there;
If clouds must ever keep from sight
The glories of the Sun
And I must suffer Winter's blight
Ere Summer has begun
If life must be so full of care
Then call me soon to Thee;
Or give me strength enough to bear
My load of misery"
Ann Bronte

So I made a wish~

Drive By Shooting, Pt. 1

Two trips (one I made by myself) over the last two weeks-
See me thinking about the next post? (lol)
Some pit stops-

 Ohia blossoms
 Death, in contrast

 Shaded in vibrance-

She could of sat anywhere..yet chose the yellow daisy's to frame her face-
Big Owl came swooping in front of us on the way home..he looked so majestic..and it appeared that it was clearly his turf. I probably spent too much time fumbling with my phone?
Tree talk- Look, I was shot!

Still contemplating my next post...
Wishing everyone a wonderful weekend-
Let's be perfectly clear- the war on free speech is spiritual!
