Kula Gardina

This emerges as a very fragrant ivory color flower and changes from yellow to deep orange-
Well, I'm feeling a little un-inspired lately..but I've been taking care of this
tree my oldest son gave me..
So, it not only looks good- it smells terrific and feels great (I know)~

Genuine Hawaiian names are unisex. Their literal meaning is usually quite clear, but there may be hidden symbolic meanings known only to the family. Old Hawaiians saw a name as the property of the name-holder, with a power to help or hurt its owner. A meaning that was too apparent might have attracted evil forces. And, just like in Hawaiian poetry, an allusion was considered more beautiful than a plain statement

Hope everyone has a great weekend..(I will be by to visit soon)

So this is a gardenia!! It makes me think of the gardinias that girls would wear around their wrist at proms, and men with the corsage. How interesting about the name thing! A name attracting evil forces, well, who knows? What is the Hawaiian religion from long ago, was there a main religion that they had?

I thought I know where is the exact location of Hawaii.
How stupid I was to spend time searching.
Not inspired enough.. (looking for excuse?)
