Wind carries
A song of broken silence
Light beams weave
Through forested sky
Shadows decend
With countless leaves
Rests among the fallen logs

Beautiful images, Regina. I hope you're having a glorious start to your week!
A lovely series of photos. But wait! You were in a volcano?
Hi there Joyful..thanks..and to you as well! Hello Ginny, it isn't exactly in there, but there is a village and park. That's where the main vent is located though. Thanks!
Your blog is such a joy to visit. From the brilliant big header photo to the spiritual references I look forward to every one. The James 1:17 is a little different in my King James version, but the phrase "Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows" is wonderful. And you have tied it in so well with your nice monochromatic photos of the leafy shadows.
Is the poetry at the beginning yours? I like, "a song of broken silence" especially.
I've been to Volcano Nat Park. I was amazed at how cold it was in a place considered so tropical.
It's amazing how you weave photos, scripture, and poetry so beautifully together. This is a beautiful post and certainly one of my favorites. Lovely!
Hey..I appreciate that Leenie and am glad you swung by!! Ya, thank you..some reflections over the past weekend. It was so clear- no sulfur dioxide. I haven't been up there in awhile but they were really getting smoked out! So you were able to visit huh? Wonder what season? Anyway, have a great evening-
