Puna Reflections

This is pretty much what you'll often find in regard to life.. as far as the age of the various lava flows through out the Island. Below, the flow is much older so consequently you'll find a greater amount of soil, with more trees and lush grass..but rocks, you can't escape it!
Here are a few black & white and focal, but I've included the regular photos so you can at least see the green. Incidentally, this was much dryer than the last time I'd seen it. These are really way up in the mountains (between Mauna Kea & Mauna Loa)-Saddle Rd. But hey, Puna is where I stay..& that's how we say it too.
