Fabulous Ferns

Now, I don't want to
Think about my place
Pushing back branches
That graze my face..
I just want an escape

Well it's dark in here
&
Pretty cool
Still, sunbeams filter down
Through the tops
Of the leaves
Between fine rainy
Trickles

With twigs in my hair
&
Ferns, that graze my face..
I just want an escape-

Beautiful pictures and words. Your header is *amazing*!!! Thanks so much for your kind words regarding the loss of my Roxy girl (and cat). That means so much. I hope things are brighter in your beautiful world now as well ;-) -Tammy

They are beautiful unfurled ferns Gina, like them...I've not tried photographing like this. Hhmmm...will see if I'd be successful. :)

never knew ferns so intimately! perfect poem - i'm still smiling at the tiny growth (or spourt) pushing through the damp darkness toward the light, talking to herself

Let's be perfectly clear- the war on free speech is spiritual!
