This is a condensed version (I wrote about before) but happen to be a very memorable period in my life.
Grilled hot dogs
&
Big white clams
Lost in my shells
While the sun beat down
Can still hear Gulls
&
People chatter
People chatter
Watching for waves
Where
Where
Black crabs tunneled
Don't remember any rain
Just blankets
With red umbrellas
Grilled hot dogs
&
Big white clams
Counting sea shells
Near the pier..
Time with sand
Slipped through my hands~
Time with sand
Slipped through my hands~

Hi Regina
I like this old pictures on the beach,
nice memories.
Greetings, Joop
I wonder if those were the best hot dogs in your life, and none taste as good now? Good thing we can't go back, we wouldn't want our adult minds to find fault with chilhhood's perfection. Are you alright? Did you get my e-mail?
Wow! How cool to have such memories--with photos to go with them! Love, love, love your header.
Memories, M
Light the corners of my mind
Misty water-colored memories
Of the way we were
Scattered pictures,
Of the smiles we left behind
Smiles we gave to one another
For the way we were ...:-)
Memories are wonderful! Was it you? so cute.
Those were the days.
xo
Thank you Joop..
Ginny, I was the only one who hated them but didn't have a choice in it (ha ha)..but when I grew up it was a different story? I enjoy them now (I will get back)
Penny, that was just lovely!!
Hey Regina..ya, thank you my friend!
KP, that was the lovely song by Barbara Streisand. I just loved that song and the movie with her and Robert Redford. The words popped into my head when I read your words and saw your photos. Hugs xx
