They Were Wearing Blue Plumbago

Wish I had some kind of ringtone set up for all those pesky Thoughts of mine..
Just a soft reminder?
Maybe more like a quick zap
As in dog collar?
(Today was my last day of hen sitting next door) -best eggs ever too!

You have a horn now!
They smelled of Rosemary
Where the red and speckled hens
Laid their eggs
Wearing blue Plumbago
When they passed
Orange Hibiscus waved~

My thoughts on performance-
coming up in Pt. 2
Hope you have a terrific weekend~

Do the hens eat these? And do the eggs taste like these plants, already rosemary seasoned! How many hens do you have and you get fresh eggs every morning, yum!! I have read two conflicting articles by foodies. One says there's a huge difference between farm fresh and grocery store. Another couldn't tell any difference. They both did blind taste tests.

My goodness..really tasty- yes, such a difference Ginny! They run free for most of the day and go back in their pen late afternoon. I collect them inside and some outside..but they were laying them under a large Rosemary bush and it was so fragrant..

The hens are so pretty. How nice that you had fresh eggs. I think fresh anything is much better than store bought. I know free range chickens taste much better than the regular force fed ones. Lovely photos as always. Oh yes, I agree that it would be nice if there was a way to gently turn off pesky thoughts. Often meditation on a prayer verse (and repeating it over and over) works for me.

I love plumbago (called too Bela-Emília in Brasil), dogs and chickens that lay eggs... but now I live in an apartment, I can't have animals.
I really liked the pictures and words so simple, so sweet...
Have a great Sunday, Regina.
Kisses with love.

Hi! So nice to see your lovely Summer photos of the sweet hens!
In Sweden we´re having ice on the roads and everywhere you had to go now! It's not nice!

Thank you for your comments on my elk-pictures! It was a pleasant afternoon there!
