Jungle Jive

Black King Wood Bee above

(Orchid Tree)

These guys work well in (link to program below photos) just because of their striking colors..
I did a 3 Pt series on light & color but only the second part was focused on chameleons including some background info I don't wish to repeat~
Flower below was just a touch of saturation in Picasa..
Below is the link to the program I used-

Beautiful photos and effects. I've never heard of an orchid tree! Is it related to regular orchids? The colorful but ugly parrot fish is your header! I remember reading a post you did all about that fish, I think the name was parrot but I may be wrong.

jungle jive INDEED. pretty little colorful Geico Gecko! my favorite is the the fly? in the flower. is that a fly? can't tell, the shot is super. we have orchid trees here, seems like FL and Hawaii are about the same in the flora.

Hi Sandra ..that's not a fly- It's a Black King Wood bee (grin) I've posted before..the female is orange. Ya, our climate and flora is very similar..thanks-
