Lilac & Chrome

(Sorry, I was only referring to the color when I wrote this ..it isn't really lilac it is a (Blue Plumbago)

It's easy..
As lilac
&
Chrome

If we'd just make
Our house
A home

May not ever
Need to roam

Lilac tumbles
Into Chrome~

(brushed nickel with a bit of focal)

(Feel free to skip my musings here)
Have you ever run away from something..maybe brought on as a consequence of your own doing- in addition to what ever came your way..(probably related)? Mine hasn't been in the area of relationships, but I've been tempted (lol)..not really cause of someone else..maybe just the regular struggles?

I know when I had my second child, I felt even more resigned than with my first..making it easier to get into raising them actually? Anyway, I'd like to say along with Calvary, many of these habits or patterns just ceased. But it took something big to break through- with an apprehension of the cross, before I stopped weaseling or backing out of stuff- where God could finally do some work in me. Eventually, this became a habit..how about you?

Beautiful pictures! Before I saw the pictures under the poem, I was thinking what could lilac and chrome together mean? One is beautiful nature, and one cold and man-made, so opposite! But I love the poem, and then the pictures explained it all. It about taking a cold object (house) and making it beautiful and liveable and warm. I have always found that I can never run from myself. Fascinating thoughts and photos as usual!

Gorgeoous and wonderful my friend.
The poem speaks!

The Lord knows our need. And we can ask Him anything so that our joy maybe full.

the photos are really special of the flowers and chrome and the beauty speaks to me looking at them than the poem does. the photos speak the poem without words for sure. I spent most of my life TRYING to run away from me. i suffered and still do to some extent from very poor self image and was always looking for ways to build me up and had a really bad habit of walking away from things i could not change and walked straight into something worse, as in out of the frying pan into the fire. eventually i listened to God and got back in the frying pan.

Thanks for stopping by my blog yesterday. I don't post too often any more. I see you commented underneath me at Ginny's place.

In Florida we call that flower "blue daze."

Let's be perfectly clear- the war on free speech is spiritual!
