Hi Regina, amazing monochrome photos. You are a fabulous photographer and I love your words. We need to be present and enjoy the moment. Wonderful words of wisdom.
I liked these photographs and words too. There is something about the first and second shots that I especially liked. The simplicity of the shots and how they seemed to tell a story was compelling.
You've got beautiful photos here especially the flowers. I usually buy flowers for my mom whose passion is landscaping and gardening. I like the poem you wrote also. Been writing poems before but unfortunately wasn't able to find it where i have written it, as far as i remember it was on my old High School notes. But, anyways, thanks for giving time to visit my blog.
Hello again Regina. Regarding your Weekend Reflections question. You can link anytime Friday thrugh Sundy. It just depends on what you prefer or what is convenient for you. Personally I think in most memes the earlier you link the more visits you get.
Amin, does it rain often? We have dryer places on the island where a lot of the vegetaion really thrives. The red blossoms from the Ohia tree (last post below) are from a much higher elevation (they are the Islands official flower too) like the area I photographed for this post. They do much better with cold and less rain, which may explain why some look similar to you.
ANTIQUE TIMES....Impressions of times left behind.......These magnificient photos seem portraits of older times...WONDERFUL, Regina....!!!! ( do you know I've got an antique waterpomp in my garden and I water in the summer my flowers with it...hard muscle work..!)
About every 100 metres You can meet water taps in our village. The name of our village is Irmashli in Shemkir region. There are big hills in part of Shemkir ,and these places are not dry .
Eligia, thank you for your sweet words and visit!! Denise..love it when you drop in!! Fantastic Elvira! I really enjoy stuff like that too.. truly from by-gone days huh..and alway so lovely, (besides useful) for garden surroundings! Anyway, I appreciate your visits!! (hugs)- Thank you Amin for taking the time to give me a little insight into your village- So you do get a lot of water..well, I find this all very interesting! Nester..I appreciate that tip for the camera and the web page..forgot to mention the latter. Also..I noticed you had a birthday in January..(I feel rather sheepish)..so Happy belated!!

These are amazingly beautiful photos. I can sense a bit melancholy in them, but somehow i love a bit sad images. Very touching.
