Loves Sacrifice

I guess you could say, the way the moss adheres to rocks and trees, illustrates the verse (Fellowship of the Mystery)- which had become the inspiration behind the following poem-
(Kipuka- Slide with Hawaiian terms below)

Love is a sacrifice
As a thorn to a rose
Unless
You’ve counted all loss (Phil.12:9,10)
Why boast in what
Pertains to weakness? (2 Cor 12: 9)

The Author of our salvation
Captain
And
Prince
Leads us into an inheritance
As co-heirs..
If indeed we share in His suffering-
Along an appointed avenue
He’s perfected-
Sanctification through death..
Death, Consummated in glory

&
Here lies
Loves paradox
Through transformation-
As co-heirs..
If indeed we share in
His suffering- we must cease (in order that we may also be sharers in His glory)
Heb 8: 10, 11..” I will put my laws in their minds and write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people. No longer will a man teach his neighbor, or a man his brother, saying, 'Know the Lord,' because they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest.”

Love is a sacrifice
As a thorn to a rose
So unless
You’ve counted all loss
Why boast in what
Pertains to weakness?
"But His love rendered
Powerless
him who had the power of death" (Heb. 2:14)
(the intent that now through the assembly the manifold wisdom of God might be made known to the principalities and the powers)
(Eph:3: 8-12)
(full vss. on bottom)
(When Christ is said to be glorified, it means simply that His innate glory is brought to light, made manifest) (Zodhites)
~
2 Cor. 3:18- But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit.
~
Eph 3:8-12 “the very least of all saints, was this grace given, to proclaim to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ, and to make all men see what is the administration of the mystery which for ages has been hidden in God, who created all things through Jesus Christ; to the intent that now through the assembly the manifold wisdom of God might be made known to the principalities and the powers in the heavenly places, according to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord”
~
Fellowship- To share with (sugkoinoneo) to have a share in.
&
The mystery being profound-

(speed this up with the arrows at top if you like)

The slide is titled Kipuka, a word describing Islands of vegetation surrounded by lava.
There are over a hundred species of moss.
Here are just a few
Hawaiian terms for mosses, liverworts and lichens-

Huluhulu a'ilio- A green velvety carpet, like mountain moss...the spore cases rise above the plants (fur like a dog)
Ekaha- A moss growing on rotted trees, also Limu ekala

Great perspective of the tree trunk covered with green moss!

Let's be perfectly clear- the war on free speech is spiritual!
