Subterranean Floors

Afternoon sun descends
Softening limbs
Falls through every leaf
Gracing jagged peaks



Hidden streams crawl
Through subterranean floors
Red brew glows
Captive growth
In tubes below,
Buds escape
While vapors rise




Ohia Lehua Blossoms
Vents spew
Along sloping flanks

Dance with shadows
Enchanting hues
Hypnotise-
