Just A Parable

If you and I
Were to reach the sky
We might hear it breath a sigh

Yet we're no higher than some branch
Just a parable with a chance

Oh, and if we could
Perhaps we'd fly

We're no bird
We have no wings?

But we can listen
To his song

Then we'd learn
To get along-

Beautiful skies and a lovely sentiment.

(What would possibly have offended me? If you're wondering why I haven't been around it's just because it's Purim (think Israeli Halloween) and my husband's out of town. I'm flying solo and am more than a bit swamped with all the necessary preparations and celebrations. Certainly not offended by anything.)

Hi Regina
Thanks for popping over my way and your lovely comments!! Of course I can be jealous now that I see you live in Hawaii !! hehe... Your sky shot is lovely .. fabulous colours.. and your banner shot has me enthralled.. my camera won't let me take such close shots.. annoying!!

Is that a Rosella in your hand?? We have Rosellas in our garden here .. but they certainly wouldn't let you get that close!! not the wild ones!!! Ok I've hogged enough of your comments.. Thanks again for popping over.. xx Jullie

The pics are wonderful and your poetry too. The sky is on fire and the angels are baking! I love the delicate, touching photo with the little lovebird, so vulnerable, so protected.
