Wild Lilikoi (Passion Fruit) & Morning Musings

I'm sitting here
Appearing transparent
Under the tarp
With a hole
Where the rains falling in..

While it's understood
The sun
It shines through
That His blessings
They flow
On the evil & good..

Yet I wonder
At the bee
Hovering
Just below my knee
As he pollinates a weed..
Still I know

Somehow,
Everything works for the good-

(If you enlarge the photo above, you can see the passion growing along an apple tree)

Wild Passion flower growing along a vine in the middle of Mauna Road on the Big Island. Now this type here is different..it's long like a sausage (you can kinda see in the last photo) & orange when it ripens..plus, the skin is softer and the taste is way more bland- Anybody else have these growing in your neck of the woods?

Good morning Regina M. Lovely inspiring and thoughtful words. The sweet Lilikoi, such a lovely name for this climber scrambling through the trees to give its gorgeous flowers full advantage. I love passion fruit it is my favourite fruit. For me it is the fruit from Paradise!
I love the paws!
Here is a wonderful morning not as hot as the last two days. Winter is not yet finished and summer has come, skipped over spring. We need rain it is dry. Have a great weekend and write more inspiring poetry and let us know some of your memories!
Thank you for your kind comment on S.B.

beautiful words, beautiful flowers, beautiful fruit! Everything looks so lush compared to the dryness that is here with the drought. Thank you for the "refreshing" thought of rain and the blessings He gives regardless of location and conditions.
