Saddle Road, A Culmination

For Skywatch Friday

Appearing out of the mist, expecting..a familiar rancher perhaps?

I didn't need to move
Any closer
Than where I stood
Neither did the One
Who dipped
In rich brown
&
Gold
The deepest of red,
Where it bled
From His palette
Into the crude earth
I till

It would be the ground
Through birth
Seeds sown in sorrow
Not mirth

For everything
Will be a culmination
On earth
As in heaven-

This is like a dream. Or a movie. Or a movie about a dream. Each capture is absolutely stunning.

Beautiful images and poetry. At first I thought maybe I needed to go to bed as I saw little dots fall from your screen and thought it was a sign that I should be in bed.

Oh My God! How beautiful these pictures are! Did you take them yourself? I am a lover of horses and the grass so green! The tree, void of life, set in contrast to the lush loveliness! And, the poem just took me deeper into it all!

Polen no wonder my allergies started to act up. lol I have been Wanda's friend for about two years, it was there that I read your comment to her and noticed the key word West Covina. I was just there last week, my brother in law lives there. I used to live in Hacienda Heights. Although I have a photo blog I have not played Sky Watch Friday. Thanks for the visit, I hope you come back.

Wow! These are incredible photographs. If that horse turned out to be a unicorn I would not have been surprised :) These photos are truly magical and so are your words.
