Thank you for this - my melancholy mood this weekend has truly been lifted! (P.S. still love the Christine McVie version of Songbird)

Oh, Regina Marie--
These pictures are precious! I swear this sweet birdie is smiling as he bathes and plays--very sweet movement and...deep bows back to you and the sweet parrot--love bird, yes?

The pictures and captions perfectly convey this little bird's curiosity and joy with water. It has a poetic rhythm as you scroll down to each picture. Thanks for putting this together.

Thank you all for enjoying these! He looks like an ordinary love bird huh..ha. He loves that occasional bathe... a cup will do while I'm washing dishes..maybe the trick really, was just taking the time to stop for him as he'd rather I stood in front of him. I picked up a new camera and I guess it makes a big difference.

An unforgettable post! The movement, music and magic of the photo capture are astounding!

Regina, you have it right (the bird did, I'm sure). First drink, then use the water to take care of the body functions. Looks like a refreshing drink, bidet, and bath in that order.
Could be more. :-)

Oh my gosh Jim..you are so funny. I guess I didn't think of it quite like that!

gina, just in case you didn't get my email...you never know what arrives and what doesn't. Ruby Tuesday this week is red Valentines Day gifts. But that being said, you can offer anything red you want...no hard and fast rules.

I hope you get to submit a Ruby Tuesday offering, love your work.

Eaton.

Thanks you guys..If I'm doing dishes he'll let me know he's thirsty so I figure about every other day he likes a bath. I like to use that bowl because it's big enough where he can just go to town! Funny, he prefers if I'm right there with him. I've been playing around with my new camera and figured I had to catch him. I did before but there is nothing like digital huh! So glad you enjoyed this and appreciate your comments-
