I
Caught them lizards
When
I
Was small
I
Was small
Raised some pigs
When I got tall
But you might say
I'd gone too far
Well then I raised these boys
So they could hear me call!
Who collected fish
N
Cat's
&
Mice
Birds
Yes..
N
Dogs..
Sure
I
Mentioned this
More than twice
Well looking back
They're
Still a joy
All them critters
&
The overgrown
Boys~

The difference between friends and pets is that friends we allow into our company, pets we allow into our solitude. ~Robert Brault, www.robertbrault.com
I like pigs. Dogs look up to us. Cats look down on us. Pigs treat us as equals. ~Winston Churchill
Ever consider what pets must think of us? I mean, here we come back from a grocery store with the most amazing haul - chicken, pork, half a cow. They must think we're the greatest hunters on earth! ~Anne Tyler, The Accidental Tourist

Giggling about Peter Pumpkin Eater's wife in the pumpkin shell. And smiling at all your critters and kids. A nice assembly of those to love and be loved by. And I really like the Robert Brault quote. So true!
Beautiful children!
The sitting of the dog is very interesting in the photo.
Pumpkin and bird!Very beautiful capture.
Can this pumpkin speak?!Ha-Ha!

Have a great sunday! Cheers, dear!
Kisses with love.
Love the poem, the pictures and all the thoughts. I often wondered what my late cat thought of my mom. They didn't like each other. Both of them were afraid of the other and they didn't know it! lol I really like the quotation of Robert Brault.
You asked me what I've been up to and actually you asked before I could finish my post about that, lol. It is up now. Hope you're having a great weekend. It was a wonderful day here today but now it has started raining. We are entering our rainy winter season though I hear this year will be colder and snowier due to El Nina.
I LOVe these quotes!!! And your cute bird peeking from inside the pumpkin!! "Peter, Peter pumpkin eater, had a wife and couldn't keep her. So he put her in a pumpkin shell, and there he kept her very well!" The picture of your boys is a georgous and joyous sight to behold!!
Hey there Regina, I can't reply to your comments with email because it is from blogger mail (not your own email; or, I don't know how, lol). Anyway, I got one long comment and one shorter one from you on my last post. I've read them both but need to read them again and I will post comments back (on my blog), esp. about the dentist! Thanks so much for being a friend and leaving comments. I do appreciate it so much ;-)
Your birds is very winsome. ☆ヾ(@Θ@)ノ♪
He is cozy in the funny pumpkin.
All lovely pets give us love and smile, and moreover a pig gives both of energy and health. Thanks to their tolerance.
Pigs look equal to us, but they ran too fast in the wild and banged onto my car when I was going for my hiking trip.
Pigs are clever animal.
