We behold life
In motion
Blissfully rolling
Captured when still..
Captured when still..
Fragments we perceive at best
These images-
Concepts absorbed,
Concepts absorbed,
Ingested with every encounter
Consumed in determination
Burn inside
Without brush or pen
We behold life
In motion
Blissfully rolling

His mystery,
Deep,
Ever wide
&
Ever wide
&
Bottomless..
Unfolds, when still~
Note, this is the flower I posted previously but didn't have the name for- it's a
Ps. 143: 8 "Cause me to hear thy loving-kindness in the morning, for in thee do I confide; make me to know the way wherein I should walk, for unto thee do I lift up my soul"
Eph. 3: 8,9 "To me, less than the least of all saints, has this grace been given, to announce among the nations the glad tidings of the unsearchable riches of the Christ .. what is the administration of the mystery hidden throughout the ages in God, who has created all things,"

Good morning!
I have not seen before so like red bird.
The new header is beautiful.
I see rain drops on the blue flower,........
I love those still moments. I had to chuckle a little though, I was thinking of the challenge of photographing birds and fish. "Now hold still!"
I love the first three lines of your poem, and the cadence. It's also very cool the way you mention unfolding with the flower bud that is folded. We are constantly in motion, yet still. W are a conundrum, a mystery meant to be one, or else we would be as great as God. God said that he would confuse our languages, or else who knows how far we can go or what we can do.
Beautiful; lush and peaceful. Thank you for the moment of tranquility! :o)
while looking at these photos and reading the poem with care, i actually got tears in my eyes. i can't decide which I like better, the poem or the photos. sign me, blissfully rolling.
Thank you Amin- your thoughts are appreciated!
Butternut..they are a challenge huh?! I try to coax them, ha..
Oh thanks Krista!! Glad you stopped by!
Ginny, what a lovely perspective!!
Sandra- so sweet- blessings!!
Powerful thoughts put so simply and beautifully. The way you photographed the flower helps focus on its miracle of opening and unfolding. I also like your versions of the scriptures. Similar to but different from the King James.
You have captured a red cardinal, motionless, momentarily.
It will fly away, the next moment.
We just cannot stop anything, from moving.
Hey Leenie! It was a way to emphasize some words I guess..thank you! Rainfields, I wish everything would just hold still..but its apparent your flies did just that- cause their shameless! Lol:))
Wow refreshing blooms and a lovely bird.
Love the poem my friend.
Beautiful post.
xo
What a stunning and beautiful post...nature is an amazing thing to behold. Two lovely scriptures in this piece as well. Thanks for sharing.
i love your macro shots.
I love verses from the Psalms - that one verse is so powerful. Your title also reminds me of this verse "Be still and know that I am God"
As someone once said to me - He's our refuge in the storm and even in the rain showers ....... which so ties in with your beautiful plumbago blue flower.
:) Rosie
Thank You for name of that flower.
