There is an appointed time for everything.
And there is a time for every event

" Eccl 1:1-4
Not sure if you've ever noticed how many NDE (near death experiences) are on youtube? I've seen a lot, but for some reason many of these people get caught up trying to prove NDE's are really true to all those sceptics? I had one too- (My NDE) quite detailed as a matter of fact, but I could care less if anyone believed me?
I have more of a problem with folks attempting to line up scriptures with their experience.. don't you think it should be the other way around? Futhermore, when I had this experience, I'd never read the bible or the book of Revelations..an neither was I a Christian- though I had a religious background.
Our Creator left us with so many examples in nature to better understand Him. We see a cause and effect like the parable of the sower for example. If anyone's done a little gardening they could relate.
Look, worldly people are all around us.. you maybe one of them (lol)
but scriptures talk about crucifying your passions, so worldly is maybe a mindset to me. In other words, it's a bit like working towards a goal, you know.. simply part of the transformation. But how is that possible if you haven't an apprehension or a vision? Now if your dead (dying) to sin, then you should be making a little progress? Vision goes with transformation.
Now, back to NDE's, see, many of these people are left with a sudden revelation (when they go through the tunnel or what have you) that we're all one.. everything is just bliss.. nothing to worry about! In fact, they say they have no fear of death anymore. You may remember (Oh Death Where Is Your Sting) ? But heir on a mission to comfort everyone else (lol) Hey, I'm not trying to rain on anyone's parade but I'm going to tell you the truth. See, God went to a whole lot of trouble (think of His Eternal Purpose) just because you die doesn't mean it's all been a baaad dream! Listen,
Everybody wants to go to heaven, but nobody wants to die)

I can say I have never had a near death experience. Not sure if I want to either. I do not think I am afraid of death and I do hope I go to a happy place after. Interesting post! I hope you are having a great week.
