Let Them Tell You Their Story- Pt. 2

This post isn't about seeking donations or giving AID..no, you can do that on your own. Rather, it's a chance to hear countless muffled voices, which have become tuned out (thanks to the media and organized religion) These are the lucky ones-

Listen to this young woman give her account..the link will take you to Christian Solidarity Interantional
where you can scroll down an discover how-
Every story is the same..same pattern, same method, same ideology-

Atong Mawein Tong (female, early thirties)

Year of Capture: Unknown
Liberated: September 2011

"I don’t remember what year I was taken to the North.  I do remember that the journey took a whole month.
Along the way, we were beaten and sexually abused by the Arab militiamen, every day, many times a day.  When we tried to refuse or fight, some were beaten, cut on their backs; some had their throats slit.  I was sexually abused so often by so many that I can never have children again.  They also knocked out my front teeth.
In slavery, every day my work was the same.  It was much suffering all day long.  I saw other Dinka people, but we were not allowed to speak to them.  There was no resting.  I cried, but there were no tears. I was a married woman in the South with three children.  I do not know if my husband and children are alive.  Many in my family were killed, but I was the only one taken to the North.
I dream of my husband.  In the dream he climbs out of the grave.  When he sees me, he runs away.  I am afraid he will not want me.  But I will look now for my people, for my husband, for my children.

so disturbing...I guess that is why we naturally tune it out...once we face the reality we may have to do something about it.

Hello Hanne Bente..thanks for stopping by. I'm sorry about your health issues but sounds like we're in the same boat! I'll send you an e-mail.
Your right..it sure looks like a tapir to me. Lovely post-
Greetings mom8 with over a couple thousand blogging friends!! lol..thanks and added you too.
In regard to your comment, I'm trying to wrap my mind around it all and figure posting some of it may help (I confess my own limitation) but I also know, the media is rarely reporting any of this- Wishing all a good day or evening perhaps-

Let's be perfectly clear- the war on free speech is spiritual!
