He Makes His Ways Known

Above pods..and flower below are Melastoma Sanguineum-
which blooms continuously..turning deep purple with higher elevation.
My blogging friend (Sandra has similar climate and foliage over in Florida) You might like to pay her a visit.
These two seem to be natural companions ..what we refer to as the Staghorn fern.
It becomes woody and the tip is almost like a razor..a bit  blurry here- but together with the Ohia trees they make up our forest. In fact if people would just doze only a house pad, they do a nice job of keeping out the weeds-

I mentioned in the last post I was reading through the book of Daniel
In Chapt. 10, he has a vision- I've included a couple verses following a brief account~

"While standing on the bank of the great river, the Tigris, I looked up and there before me was a man dressed in linen, with a belt of the finest gold around his waist. His body was like chrysolite, his face like lightning, his eyes like flaming torches, his arms and legs like the gleam of burnished bronze, and his voice like the sound of a multitude.
Since the first day that you set your mind to gain understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come in response"

It might not always be so dramatic..but amazing how God hears us and responds just the same~

 Pr. 4 6 & 7
"Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you;
love her, and she will watch over you
Wisdom is supreme; therefore get wisdom
Though it cost all you have, get understanding"

(On rejecting wisdom)
Pr. 1: 23
If you had responded to my rebuke,
I would have poured out my heart to you
and made my thoughts known to you..

Thank you for visiting my blog last night. Your phtography skills are nice. I usually do not shoot close ups of plants. I'm a scenic landscape shooter for the most part or that of family.

Your referance from the Bible on wisdom and understanding is a good reminder to us that we should want these attributes for our lives. God wants us to have them as well or else He would have not made a point to mention them in His word.

I am now following your blog. It's always nice to make to new friends. God bless!

i do so love these curly things on your plants. wonderful photos again. i am late getting on here, we are having terrible storms right now and there are several tornados about 60 miles from us. winds to 70 miles per hour, rain and hail. hope the maters survive. we are fine right now. more if anything happens. i am on the laptop, just hoping the lights don't go out, power is out in many places but we still have ours. flooding on the streets and power lines down. and lots of dopes out their driving in it. we are both home and safe and baby is in her condo (walkin closet) hiding from the storm
