Maybe Pebbles & Sand

(Reed's Bay)
My dog going for a swim..
Java Finch below gathering food
Road is often long
Like all the
Pebbles
&
Sand
Between
Ocean
&
Land
Yet He can lead us
Through the sea
Where no footsteps
Are found
You may of reached
An impasse
With a load too heavy
Like all the sand upon the shore..
Dreams might turn to black top
Prospects grow dim

But I heard a song
In the night
Tell me that the way
Is through the deep
*
Maybe
Pebbles
&
Sand
Between the Ocean
&
The land
*
But He'll lead us
Through the sea
Where no footsteps are found~

Inspiration taken from
Psalm 77

That red-headed finch is beautiful, I've never seen one before! Are they common there? You wrote this poem? I adore it, it may be my favorite that you've posted so far. I'm going to the Psalm and read it and look for where you got inspired now!

lol)..you know I could never get a post up every day Sandra! Glad you enjoyed these (hugs)
Ginny, thank you! When we finished our house, these little colorful finches started building nests above our window..but I could never seem to get them to pose long enough. So, I go to the beach and this little finch carried on as if he could care less if we were there!
You guys are characters! (grin)

Oh! So wonderful, what a mistic colors! This bird is awesome, and white stones! Two colors of dogs - it is not manicheism, it's diversity of life ;)
Hugs!

It is simple and sweet. I'll sing if I can.

I like the pebbles between the ocean and land. It tells the limit where we prefer to go.

Lovely silhouette of your dog in the first picture and the other spotted one who has what looks like lots of freckles on his face. Cute!

Your psalm is inspiring. Good to be reminded there is a way through the deep places where no footsteps lead. Trusting takes strength, but it becomes easier, just like many things, by first taking baby steps.

Great that you got your little red headed friend to pose for you on the beach. Love the dogs.

I like the way they look at you.
I think you feel connected with them.
The letter color of blue gray is beautiful.
