She's A Queen, With A Chipped Wing

Creatures
We marvel
While there by our side..
Is our delight,

Or watch them gather
In the wild
Barely conscious of their flight

Just like the lilies
They don't spin ..
No, never driven to introspection
So simple
&
Sublime

With no regard
To how they'll generate
Cause they don't labor
&
They don't spin..
They just manifest devine~

Beautiful words...I have never seen this kind of bee before. What a unique insect. I'm so amazed out how tropical and breathtaking everything in Hawaii is.

Fantastic shot of the Queen bee doing her thing. How did you get so close?

Kilauea Poetry said...

Thanks Katina, greetings Carol and Joyful-glad you stopped by. I've posted the equally big black ones (king), as they are out mostly all the time. The queen wasn't bothered with me at all..but you could say I'm a little obsessive,(so I get as close as I can) ha-

It is very hard to get so like perfect pictures which YOU photographed.Very beautiful .

Hi there..well I appreciate that. I always have in the back of my mind- there must be some kind of purpose or meaning behind it all? Of course this has to be contingent on lighting, focus, and my silly macro? Oh..I take a lot too, because I know I'll be tossing many of them out. Does that make sense? I saw a big fat snail on my bromeliad yesterday? ha
