Happy To Forget

Putting his head
Together with mine
Drifting above
A carpet of lime
Just
Happy to forget
About the time..
In the moment

Wait like the spider
Who strung his line
No future date
To keep in mind..
In the sunlight
Can feel it penetrate

While we watch from below
As it crosses the trees..
Drifting above
A carpet of lime..

In the moment-
Just
Happy to forget
About the time

What an adorable little friend you have there, and I enjoyed your photographs and your prose too. They always go so well together.

this world is so totally different from anything I have ever experienced.
In your world, when one has visions like these to contemplate, it cannot be hard to forget about time.

This is my second attempt to write my comment. I don't know what happened to my first comment, it seems that blogger is having some trouble.

Anyway, lovely photos my dear. Your parrot is so cute, love the sepia shot too, and the prose...yeah sometimes we just need to forget the time and enjoy every moment.

Have a great weekend my dear.

Hi Regina, I've got a lot to read on your blog, so I'm going to start here by saying that green flower, is stunning. I love the intensity of the color and the detail. :)

Hi Eaton..thanks. Took me awhile to get here as I monetored the comment early on my blackberry. Then my yahoo wouldn't load (I had to find out where you commented), so here I am.
Have you been writing much poetry?
Well I hope you have a great week-

Hi Regina, I'm not writing a whole lot, family commitments are stifling even my desire to write. I know I will write when the time is right. I've been looking at your photos, your Sunflower headers shot is gorgeous. My one giant sunflower has come to the end of her reign unfortunately, she was beautiful. I have photos of her, (my nine year old daughter named her Linda.)plenty of seeds though, for next spring.

I have concluded that Hawaii is a veritable paradise for photography and I look forward to many more looks into your life on the island.

regards,
Eaton :))

Thanks Eaton..I know what you mean, life can be so demanding! Man, your daughter is young!! Well I'm attempting to get a garden in and flowers are a priority. I'd like to be early this season..that also means weeding out and everything in between like the unforseen. All the work pays off. Our long growing season begins around April or May..what about you guys? Anyway, glad you swung by- Big virtual hug, ha-
