The Rhythm To This Journey

So God Must Be A Song..

Outside enchanted,
I heard a sound
A beat steady, an sure
The rhythm to this journey

So God must be a song-
Awakening an orchestra within
Consistent,
Like the roar of a train
Leading us ahead-
Somewhere...
On a path we cannot see,
That splits for a time-
As rocks divide the waters-
Along a rushing stream

Then in harmony we're connected
Like a thread, we intertwine-
Softly and eerily
He pulls us in
By a current that chants
The language of love and truth..

And though the pain hold us an anchor,
Still, on an on He weaves-
Spins us together as gold,
His instruments-soldered into Him
Into what He once bore

Though crushed and broken,
We're poured out-
To the rhythm of a hymn
In the song of His suffering and praise-

In the storm
Beaten
We begin,
Just mere etches
In stone

The word
Forged

Through our adversity
Becomes
Our language
Poured out of

Earthen vessels..

Hey Regina,

I love this "So God must be a song-
Awakening an orchestra within..." So lovely and beautiful. I'm sorry you lost the other comment. I think it was a comment about your garden. Anyway, it was lovely. I can't wait to see them bloom : )

I love the alchemy in the last stanza. The divine tranlated into language poured out of an earthen vessel. Beautiful

Let's be perfectly clear- the war on free speech is spiritual!
